This hands-on, week-long workshop, you’ll explore the exciting world of DIY digital instruments! Designed for community members with no prior experience, we’ll guide you through the basics of MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface), coding, and 3D printing. By the end of the week, you’ll have built your very own MIDI controller—a device you can use to create music or interact with software. Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • MIDI Basics: How MIDI works as a language for digital instruments
  • Simple Coding: Techniques to make your controller interactive
  • 3D Printing: Bringing your design ideas to life
  • Sound Innovation: Creating unique instruments and interactive art

Whether you’re a musician, artist, or tech enthusiast, this workshop will empower you to create with MIDI technology—opening the door to future projects! No previous experience needed—just bring your creativity and curiosity!
