Institute for Electronic Arts receives $15,000 grant
Alfred University’s Institute for Electronic Arts, in the School of Art and Design, recently was awarded a $15,000 grant from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation Arts and Culture Initiative.
The money will be used to support IEA general operations. “We look forward to continuing to bring incredible artists from around the world to Alfred University through the support of grants such as this,” IEA Director Miranda Metcalf said.
Based in Buffalo, NY, the Ralph C. Wilson Foundation has committed itself to supporting arts and culture in the eight counties of Western New York, in addition to Monroe County, “in recognition of the key role arts and culture organizations play in a thriving economy,” according to the Foundation website.
