Jing Huang M.F.A. ’20 exhibits in London’s Victoria and Albert Museum
Ceramic artist and Alfred University alumnus Jing Huang M.F.A. ’20 has artwork included in an exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
Jing’s work, Loop #3, is curated as part of an exhibition titled “The Mountain in Chinese Art.” Loop #3 is inspired by the misty landscape around Jing’s childhood home of Guilin in southern China.
Currently based in Charlotte, NC, the work of Jing Huang is part of private and public collections including the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum, and Durham University Oriental Museum (Durham, UK).
Jing was named Ceramics Monthly’s Emerging Artist in 2023 and is a past recipient of an Emerging Artist Fellowship from NCECA. She as lectured, conducted workshops, and exhibited extensively throughout the United States, Canada, China and the United Kingdom.
