Dance faculty graduates first class of Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysts in Korea

Alfred University Assistant Professor of Dance Colleen Wahl and Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance Erin Law recently celebrated the completion of the first international Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis Certification Program, which was offered through Integrated Movement Studies (IMS), a project co-directed by Wahl.

The program graduated its first class of Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysts in South Korea. The two-week Korean program involved a collaboration between IMS, Choom Therapy Center and Inbaram Park.

Following the workshop. Wahl remained in Korea to lead a Choom Therapy Center workshop, Somatic Approaches to Living a Creative Life.

Wahl and Law are faculty members in Alfred University’s Performing Arts Division, School of Art and Design.
